Michael graduated from Walsh Jesuit High School and then earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Denison University, graduating cum laude.

Michael began his financial services career in 2009. He believes that quality advisor-client communication is the key to building the long-term trust that clients value.

Michael and Kilby have been happily married since 2013 and welcomed a daughter in 2017. They are thrilled to be raising a family.

Michael obtained his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2014, having passed the CFP® Certification Examination.

The Certified Financial Planner (“CFP®”) designation is awarded to individuals who have a minimum of three years' experience working in financial planning, and complete a comprehensive course of study at a college or university offering a financial planning curriculum registered with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. Candidates must also pass a two-day, 10-hour exam, as well as complete an ethics review and agree to abide by a strict code of professional conduct.

Those seeking to maintain their CFP® certification must recertify every two years, which includes completing at least 30 hours of continuing education training.
